Which panels have hail damage?
Before you begin, check every panel of your vehicle and take note of any panel that has visible damage. Use the check boxes to indicate your observations.
What size category best represents the majority of the dents on the hood?
The next screen will take you through the estimating process, panel by panel. The first question addresses the size category. Look at the panel as a whole. Are most of the dents quarter-sized? If yes, choose “quarter.” If dime sized, choose “dime,” and so on.
On average, what is the RANGE of quarter-sized dents that you see on the hood?
Next, count all of the dents (all sizes) that you can see on that panel. For example, if you count 20 dents then you would choose the range of 16-30.
How many quarter-sized dents do you see on the hood?
For this step, you will enter the ACTUAL number of dents you see. For step 3, you should have already done this. Enter that number into the box.
REPEAT for each panel chosen.
